Happy 2011 everyone! For the Holidays I came down to one of the most southern parts of the world, Argentina. I am planning to go further down to Patagonia in the days to come, I’m super excited, apparently the landscape down there is breathtakingly beautiful, I cant wait to try my artsy eye on it. Meanwhile, Ive been spending some time in Buenos Aires, the Tango Capital of the world and Ive ben eating so much beef and dulce the leche I think I may incur a little heart attack before I go back home to good old Miami. Buenos Aires is an amazing city reminiscent of many of the most beautiful cities in Europe a little of Paris here, a little of Madrid there, and the food is very much Italian, they get even the gelatos right down here and maybe even better. nowhere in Italy did I come across the best gelato flavor to exist in the known universe, that’s rigth Dulce de Leche Gelato! Anyway, that’s what I’ve been up to if you’ve been wondering, I have been on a little photographic sabatical so I dont have much to show you. When I travel I like to take everything in through all my senses before I pick up my camera. I like to plunge into the culture, head first: see it, smell it, taste it, touch it and then the next step comes naturally, document it!
As you might know, if you’ve been looking around my galleries I am always working on my fine art portfolio, and I use the term working very loosely since this is actually a passion of mine. Street photography; the documentation of people just being themselves all over the streets of the world. love doing it! Dig it more than anything else on my photographic repertoire. Buenos Aires is just the type of place I like to capture for this project, so expect some fun images to come. For now I leave you with a super fun portrait of my man I took while exploring. He is a German Argentinean mutt and this is something I simply adore about him. I think that cross cultural people are the people of the future. This is him reuniting with his Argentinean half
I had such a good time shooting Adriana and Fernando.
They are old friends of mine and I was ecstatic when
Adriana approached me to do a full Baby first year package.
I love those! This one includes Baby Bump Session,
New Born Session and 2 Baby + Family Portraits!
There is nothing more amazing than being able to document
the entire start of a little family such as this one
except maybe being able to look back at those photos for years to come!
What a wonderful family memento.
Thank you guys for letting me be a part of this exciting time of your life!
Lily and George’s wedding took place in a quaint little church in the heart of Coconut Grove called Plymouth Congregational church. They are one of the sweetest most down to earth couples I’ve ever worked with! Lily looked so pretty with her flowery dress and George very handsome with his typical Cuban Guayabera. Here is a teaser shot of the wedding! Many more photos to come soon. Thank you guys for letting me be a part of your beautiful wedding.
