Anita Andrade is a Miami based luxury photographer and fine artist specializing in family, newborn, children’s portrait and event photography. For more than 15 years, she has been capturing moments and creating art through her lens. Her photography has a timeless editorial aesthetic, with an emphasis on beautiful light, warmth, movement, emotion and connection.

Anita has always been drawn to the beauty of family and to the moments that often go unnoticed. A child’s expression, laughter, and the love and connection between the people she photographs. She believes these are the moments that tell a family’s story and become more meaningful as the years go by.

Her work has been featured in ¡HOLA! Magazine and other national and international publications, yet she is most fond of documenting families. She creates photographs that are meant to become part of their history, to be displayed, treasured and eventually passed down as family heirlooms for generations to come.

Her experience extends beyond family portraiture to editorial, fashion, commercial and branding photography, interiors and fine art. Working across a wide variety of genres has allowed Anita to continually evolve as an artist while bringing her editorial and fine art sensibility to everything she photographs.

"My type of photography is that which aims to capture the beauty of unguarded moments. My portraits are posed in that I carefully construct the place and light that surrounds my subjects, but then I wait and that's when it comes together.

I draw from my subjects those unguarded and natural expressions in their faces and body language; something that reveals their personalities, emotions and life. I find that the perfect mix of immortalizing the unguarded essence of human emotions, coupled with the beauty of aesthetic flow and composition, is what makes every one of my portraits art."
